you're betting against the odds because water phucks up everything. if you're not prepared to replace all electronics, engine, transmission, fluid systems, basically everything, locks, windows, etc. take a pass. don't forget the car wasn't flooded with deionized filtered water, it took a bath in mud and ****, all that dirt and particulate matter gets into moving parts and you're looking at a lifetime of failed components that will need replacing. you can't even count on the body being problem free as rust will eventually show up.

i hear all you guys and trust me i'm definitely weighing the risks. The day i go to the auction will decide if i purchase one.. and I'm a frugal dude with my money so I won't be stupid to just buy without thinking it through first. I know i most likely won't buy, but I'll go to the auction for the experience at least
