    Easy KO win for Wlad.
I would give you that Wlad would be too big, too strong, and too powerful for Louis.

But, Wlad would NOT had been too fast, too smart, too skilled, too athletic for Louis.

He's different for two reasons. He didn't rematch two of the men he lost to being a Gold medalist, and the third guy he lost to was coming off of a layoff when he rematched him. Wlad's different because his level of comp has taken a nose dive...which may not be his fault.

All by brutal KO? Admit it, you have never seen those fights, otherwise you wouldn't be saying it.

Wlad destroys any past HW great and easily I might add. No way Louis or Ali or Marcianno hang with him for 12 rounds, TKO/KO for Wlad.

This nostalgia crap has no real basis, the Ali that was fighting 177 and 180 pounders or the Louis that was struggling with 170 pounders will be dog meat against a 247 pound, athletic, 6'6" ring tactician like Wlad. We are not talking about Primo Carnera (who actually became champ even with his limited skills) or Valuev here, Wlad is a whole different fighter.

                OMG, never liked such threads...

The guys like Dempsey, Marciano, Louis and some others would have fought at CW or even LHW if they lived today...

They would have no business with the Klitschkos. They were all ATGs though...

Have re-read the topic. Why is there so much hate? Can`t it be a cool-headed discussion?

To the guys, who disrespect Louis - Joy Louis is one of the greatest Heavyweight champions of all times. He has an incredible record, incredible punching technique and he was a great guy. Period.

To the guys, who disrespect Wlad - Wladimir Klitschko lost three times. He was buried by the media and everybody considered him a finished fighter. He had the guts to continue fighting. He came back to become one of the most dominant champions of all times. And he hasn`t finished yet.

Have some respect for the men who achieved so much in their lives!!!

Wlad got a extremely glass chin,

but his good boxing skills and overall size would trouble Joe Louis. This is a very tough match to call .I need to think about it.

Spent two hours last night watching historical matches, including Joe Louis.
The fighters from the 50's wouldn't last 3 rounds against the best today, regardless of weightclass. One or two exceptions might exist, but only because of freakish chin or good legs.
