Of course the house will always have a built in vig. They have to make money, that doesnt mean the bettor cant make money too though. Just FYI, it begins with how likely the event is to occur, or how likely it is that more action will float to one side, theres a reason lines move. That is to entice action to the other side so the casino doesnt lose its ass in the event of an upset. The casinos profit is built in. They dont need you to win or lose, they just need even sides really.

All in all though, it seems as though your poll and question were rhetorical then since you clearly know all there is to know and seemingly believe there is no way for Floyd to be up. Or was the threads purpose just an attempt to show your betting prowess?

Either way, it sounds like you are a solid gambler who knows all there is to know. Please come to Vegas often. We have quite a few roads that need work.

You can make money gambling but it's very hard. There's a reason these casino's are as big and wealthy as they are, they house doesn't lose.

I do think he wins sometimes though but I'm sure he's lost some huge bets.

Floyd is a guy who takes very little risk as apparent in his fighting style. Hence he only bet on close to sure things.
