  • St. Paddy's day 2013; LIVE from MSG on HBO - Tripleheader! Fury, Frampton, Lee.

Main event is Tyson Fury vs. Seth Mitchell in a mouthwatering fight between two undefeated heavies. Wow, that fight has epic written all over it. Both very hittable, with rusty defense. Mitchell's chin held solid, while Fury has shown some vulnerability, but recovered very fast.

Co-main event is Carl Frampton vs. PAPITO! Vazquez Jr. Ireland vs. Puerto Rico in MSG? U serious? Amazing atmosphere that would produce. .

Opening televised bout: Andy Lee vs. Matthew Macklin. Or Andy Lee/Matthew Macklin vs. Quillen/N'Jikam winner.

        Just a hypothetical card.

I think it's very reaslitic, though.

Since Mitchell and Fury are talking up a fight in March in USA (although who knows if it's just talk). . .

I think HBO would be al over it. They love a St. Paddy's day card in NYC.

THe Irish, and Ricans will come out for sure. .. Hopefully HBO reads my thread, and tries to make it happen.

I think Uncle Bob is really serious about putting Juanma vs WV2 in PR.

ah, makes sense. that'd be a good fight. No complaints from me.

But you think he'd make it for Juan Ma's first fight back?

Frampton prolly presents too much of a risk for Bobby, though. Unless HBO is willing to pay pretty good, which I doubt they would be willing to pay what Arum would want for the risk.

Still plenty of viable opponents for Frampton. The Irish in NYC have shown they will come out to support their boxers. Maybe squeeze a Rican in the opening slot instead of Lee/Macklin.

If FUry/Mitchell can headline the card at MSG on St. Paddy's day (or even the new Barclay's since Golden Boy is eager to promote that venue), a great underacrd can be put together with Irish, and hoepfully some Ricans too.
