So Juan Diaz and Katsidis can trap Marquez into the ropes, and Manny can't?

plus, even if roach corrected those issues, it's up to the fighter to cut off the ring during the fight.

    nice try bytch

We'll have to agree to disagree here, personally, I bet last night Pacquiao would have killed to have Marquez in the same predicament both Katsidis and Juan Diaz had him in early on.
Did you actually watch either of those fights? Marquez put in a consistent body attack in both of them.

He put in a consistent body attack against Pacquiao as well. All throwing more punches at Marquez means is that he is going to hit you more, because turning defensive is not the Marquez way.

You throw punches, he throws punches, except his will be more accurate, and better placed.

He connected at 43% vs Diaz and 63% against Katsidis. Keep in mind, Diaz had a reputation as a very responsible defender.

For one, strictly talking Marquez-Pacquiao III, and how Marquez would need a more sustained body attack to stop this version of Manny, who is more durable right now than he was at FW/SFW.

Marquez ain't just gonna stop Manny, it's gonna take some serious breaking down to do and Marquez isn't gonna lower his chances of winning by even attempting that.

Whats funnier is the **** they're scrabbling around...aka the truth. I dont think any of them really know what to say. Boxing Scene's been like a guy with the shy on a first date for Pacman fans...

                    So......

Why didn't Marquez make his job easier and lay on them ropes?

I like you as a poster, but you are definately reaching with this one.
"Movement" and be able to cut off the ring are two very different things. You should know that. Manny is light on his feet but he doesn't cut off the ring very well. It was very evident in the Mosley fight. He stalked Mosley but Mosley was able to confuse Pacquiao by moving to Manny's left.
