WBA "regular" junior welterweight champion Marcos "El Chino" Maidana is ready for all comers. Maidana would like to return in December, but the struggle to secure an opponent may possibly push his return back to January and he's ready to "fight with anybody." Maidana (31-2, 28 KOs) recently returned to score a knockout victory over Petr Petrov. He wants a December rematch unification with WBC champion Erik Morales, but he'll face his mandatory, Paul McCloskey (23-1, 12KOs), if Morales doesn't come around.

Maidana will fight McCloskey next, I'm almost 100% positive. Morales already has the title now, and he doesn't need to rematch Maidana anymore.

I've read that Ed Hearn wants to make this fight in Belfast in front of McCloskey's fans, I'm wondering if this will go through, because I honestly can't think of any other venue which would be interested in that fight, hehehe.
