Why do some posters keep pushing for fights between Top Rank and Golden Boy fighters?

I don't think it's any more Arum's fault than Golden Boy's fault that they don't work together. Schaefer always talks about Arum in the worst possible way. Arum is a millionair doing what he does. He is very good at it and certainly not ******ed. Both sides seem to be doing fine without the other's help. It is a shame because some very good fights could be made if they would work with each other.

Everybody needs to get these fantasy fights out of their heads. Bob Arum is a hater and does not want to give us these fights. So just remember TR+GBP= no fight. You should know which fighters belong to these promoters TR,GBP and Gary shaw,Lou Dibella and Dan Gossen. This is a boxing web site get it together douchebags.

It is obvious it is not going to happen so why not only keep crying bout them but accusing fighters of ducking??Arum is not going to work with Oscar and that is clear as day.so why even mention fights like Donaire-Mares? Arum said the only way it happens is if Golden Boy is not involved and that is plain ******ed.

Floyd and Manny wanted NOTHING to do with each other. After the first negotiations, neither guy made any serious attempt to fight each other. They also bring in money that no one else in the sport can make, which made it easy to avoid each other.

I personally think that Floyd and Manny are the reason this Top Rank-Golden Boy thing is still going. When those two are done, you'll see this end.

Arum will die soon and it will end. Hes already in his 80's but pac and floyd are already past their best now and he can still live until floyd is like 40 so I think there is no hope for the fight.

If either fighter really wanted it to happen they could have made it happen. Pac renewed his contract with TR. He could have left them and made the floyd fight and made more money with them than with Arum but he didnt bother. Floyd could have worked a deal with Arum directly which is was Arum was trying to get him to do although this is more risky than pac moving because Arum is vengeful and the fight could just fall through anyways leaving Floyd with burnt bridges with GBP.

Cotto and Floyd had to leave top rank to get the fights they really wanted. Arum wasnt even willing to try to make Floyd-DLH and DLH-Floyd just like he isnt willing to make Pac-Floyd.

He offered Floyd Margo and he offered Cotto Pac 2 for less money than they wanted. He offers Pac freaking JMM 3, 4 and 5 like thats what we want to see over and over again.
