  • Comments Thread For: Robert Guerrero was at 152 Pounds With 7 Days to Go

Robert Guerrero came in at 152 pounds this past weekend at a weigh-in mandated by the World Boxing Council, giving the sanctioning body’s interim welterweight titleholder six days to lose five pounds.

Guerrero’s weight was certified on Saturday, Nov. 17, by Rudy Tellez, according to information WBC official William Boodhoo provided to BoxingScene.com.

Guerrero will be facing two-time 147-pound titleholder Andre Berto, headlining an HBO broadcast on Nov. 24 from the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif.

Crazy how quick he's become a Welterweight.

He's small to medium sized but he's a Welterweight.

I wonder if he's actually having to diet or if he's eating at will?

I got Berto in this one. I think he is too fast for him but that's why they fight the fights.

he'll do good because guerrero is no welterweight,he is just too slow and has no power at this weight,he was of course faster at 130 but I've never really been impressed with him anyway, but as far as berto,he should beat him easily because of what I think guerrero being just too slow and no power at this weight

Looks like Guerrero is trying to come in a little heavier to increase his power a bit.

Who said Berto is off of it? There's a reason why he denied testing with VADA.

One trip to the toilet and Guerrero will be ready to make weight.
