Frank Warren has always been the same. Drags a boxers career out so that he can milk every penny. Look at his history, Calzaghe, Hatton, DeGale, Bellew, and the rest all felt they were being held back and in the cases of Calzaghe and Hatton, moved on to bigger and better things. Warren is a good domestic promoter but any fighter that wants to fight at world level has to move away from him.

It just shows what sort of character he is when instead of letting the unhappy boxer move on, he'll fight tooth and nail to keep them so he can milk them some more.

Looks like this dispute has put the bed any rematch between Cleverly and Bellew for the foreseeable future.

Warren uses these legal disputes to intimidate and warn any of his other fighters to think twice before they try and leave him. He cried like he had been wronged by Khan when he left him and talks about loyalty but it is a one way street for Frank. What goes round comes round . If you don't treat people right they leave.
