Sure there is, assuming they use these voluntary cherry picked fights as a way to stay active. And I'm talking about Wlad specifically as Vitali is a Part-time fighter now.

Wlad needs to focus on numbers and not names. Since everyone think the Heavyweight Division sucks and that nobody can beat Wlad, he just needs to pick it up and go on a "Bum of the month" type tour.

Fight a past prime name like Oqundo in say Switzerland, stop by in Austria and kick some young, undefeated up and comer's ass, then fly over to America and harpoon the whale Chris Arreola in front of his home crowd in California; Rinse and repeat. Get that Title run up to 20 and above Title Defenses.

Povetkin DOES NOT want this fight. He and his team were pushing hard to have Wlad stripped of the Super status with his WBA belt so that Alexander can become a Full WBA Champion. That's why they were in a hurry to fight. If Wlad called their bluff, they would've found another way to chicken out of it as they did before.

I heard Solis wanted to be paid in burgers and K2 thought that was way too expensive..

Solis is still an excellent fighter for either Kilts, he was easily outboxing Vitali before that knee incident happened. Solis just needs to fight a high class heavyweight before going after the brothers.

That's already an urban myth, although the fight is readily available on Youtube.

Now read carefully and repeat. "Klitschko had scored 9 punches against Solis'4 punches up to the time of the KO. The KO punch stunned Solis and he went down. His foot slipped forward and his leg locked whilst his body kept going down. This caused the knee damage. It was all repeated very slowly on video with the vital moments and leg parts highlighted, so wise up.

There is NO WAY that Solis was winning that very first and ONLY round.

you are wrong. since povetkin became regular champion he is allowed 20 months before he has to take his mandatory with wlad. he milked the title for 3 fights(boswell, huck & rahman)& made a bunch of money & since the 20 months was almost up povetkin's team exercised their right for the title shot. they did everything within the rules & held 3 events before the deadline.time to cash in on the big fight. they know their fighter probably wont beat wlad so they got every cent out of that regular title they could. sauerland & other promoters have been doing the same thing for as long as i've been watching boxing...

Solis might as well retire to Cuba. Fat boy wasted his career.

hardly surprising, seems most klitschko opponents have issues with the contract.

No. They are afraid of being stopped.
