Last Saturday, Miguel Angel Cotto defeated the Tijuana's Antonio Margarito at Madison Square Garden in New York City, setting the stage for a 2012 battle with WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Two weeks before Cotto made his defense, Jr. retained his title by stopping Peter Manfredo Jr. at the Reliant Arena in Houston, Texas, and he was just waiting the winner of the bout between Cotto and Margarito to choose his next rival.
