And, lets not make excuses on why Jones lost to Tarver. Lets not forget that Jones won the first fight. No excuses on why he got iced in the rematch.

I actually don't think Jones was 100 percent versus Tarver.

But, lets not forget he won the first fight... After beating Ruiz he came back down and fought Tarver and beat Tarver. IMO he just got caught in the rematch. Roy even won the first round of the rematch. Then he got caught by a perfect that was timed perfectly.

All I know is that Roy was good enough to win the first fight and good enough to win the first round in the rematch. And, then got KO'd in the second round.

At that time, most def. Toney. Hopkins was fighting his way up at that time and Toney was already well-established. Too bad he wasn't in shape against Jones.
