If $ is no object, Cosmo, Wynn/Encore, Venetian. Lots of action & best clubs/pools. If you're more concerned w/ cost & close to MGM, Luxor isn't a bad choice. MGM will opening a new restaurant/nightclub, Hassakan, that should definitely give a boost to their nightlife that will be worth checking out.

MGM and New York, New York were both nice. Plus you cannot beat the atmosphere inside the MGM fight week.

do you still have a "boxing atmosphere" at other casinos such as the new york new york during a fight week considering its so close to mgm?

I was at NY NY and MGM for Chavez Martinez. We went between the two hotels and the atmosphere was definitely still there. Plus, New York New York connects to the MGM easily enough. It's a 5 min walk so you can really be in the MGM any time you want.

Been there 5 times in the last four years,
I was there in may for the cotto mayweather fight..

The MGM hikes there prices up and for what you pay it's not worth it,
I stayed in the Excalibur, literally a 3 minute walk to the MGM grand, it's closer then the Luxor. I wasn't being a cheapskate either, I really liked the casino there and it had some cool bar/restaurants, only **** thing was there was no wifi in the rooms.

I've stayed in the MGM twice and it's a great hotel, but I don't like the layout, the casino is pretty **** and so are most of the clubs. The NYNY is even closer to the MGM that's by fair my favourite and pretty reasonable aswell.
