They both are most dominant fighters in the game right now, Floyd is undefeated, Wladimir has not been beaten for almost 10 years now. Which one is harder to beat right now?

Who is harder to beat right now? Floyd or Wlad?

Wlad is in his prime, Floyd is not.
That's why I would go with Wlad, but in HW it's more likely that one punch turns things around.
And there are fighters who would be favorites against Floyd (GGG or even old Martinez), there are none against Wlad.

It's Wlad clearly, against Floyd you can bet on a punchers' chance although most likely that ain't happening. It's the same case with Wlad but before you can even touch Wlad you gotta make sure you can reach him, Wlad will control you by leaving his left hand out, at times pushing with it as well, those jabs and straight right hands are devastating. Then you gotta worry about Wlad leaning on you and clinching.

Which Welterweight has a better chance at Floyd than a Fury, Povetkin, Pulev's chances against Wlad? It's pretty tight because they are both close to zero.

A simpler way to put it, Ortiz, Guerrero (For a decent portion) and Cotto had Mayweather right where they wanted him, it's the fact that they couldn't capitalize, if you can put Wlad against the ropes, that in itself is a rarity, add in that state in which the HW division is in and you have your answer.

I doubt that either of these would ever happen but...
My point is that there is no boxer on the planet who would be favorite against Wlad, not true for Floyd.
If you count only Welterweights then it's probably Floyd as it's more likely one punch affects the outcome of fight in HW.Last edited by Simurgh; 05-17-2013, 03:39 AM.
