I got an email from the usa boxing website saying the same thing... is this for real?

For those not wanting to click the link the story says all amateur boxing in the us is cancelled until January of next year. Can they do that? Will people still hold fights but just without the sanctioning?

Yeah I guess Adonis made some comments about women's boxing not belonging in the olympics, which is a ****ty thing for him to say, especially given his job... But they're just calling off all boxing for 3 months because of it? Wow. If I keep typing its just gonna be a string of curse words so I'll stop here...
