  • Marlo from The Wire is the Scariest TV-show character ever created

Just rewatched The Wire through season 1 to 5.
Marlo's chilling soullessness still gets me.
    Those dead, soulless shark eye's.

The fact that he never shows any kind of emotion through the whole show or any kind of empathy.
Like the time he had a security guard on mini mart killed for confronting him over stealing a lollipop.

Only time he showed any kind of emotion was when he heard some guy called him a *1*** and flips out over it.
He did laugh when he got stabbed and walked away smiling.
Thats like 2 times over the course of 3 seasons.

Who do you guys think is the scariest character ever seen on TV-show?

Then again, you stab someone's loved one and they die (his dog in that case). Who's to say you're not simply a walking meat puppet from that point on. Life's value takes a huge dive lol.

Mean it in a personality lvl, for the viewers and not within the wire "universe".
Also, Omar didn't have people lead to vacant houses and executed for the smallest things.
Omar killed a couple of guy but he was more about pissing the drug dealers of and making money off it.

Who would you be more scared of, a dude that will just kill you over anything, or a dude that will kill you over anything and also possibly rape you before you die? I'll go with the latter.

Adebisi was crazy but at least he showed emotions even if he was unstable.
Also he could be sympathetic at times.

                    Marlo on the other hand...
Completely soulless and devoid of any kind of humanity.
At least Barksdale cared about his community to a degree during his regime.
The guy dropped 15 g's on a boxing gym for street kids.
