      we are who we are.

no need to say this or that to be proud of our people.

we did invent the yoyo though. oh yeah.
Trying hard? Not really....we should know more of our indigenous arts. Try googling SILAT and KALI to see the history from the Majapahit empire....

i know about kali and eskrima.

        don't interest me.

good for knife and stick fighting but i have guns so don't need it.

their none weapons stuff don't impress, looks like dojo garbage tbh. stuff that works in sparring but doesn't work in a real fight.

Sadly sir, to say that it doesn't work would nullify our history (and history of South EAst Asian arts) in just one opinion? Sorry I beg to differ.

ALL ARTS are good and have it's place.

                  i didn't say it didn't work.

i said the weapons fighting stuff is good.

i did say the no weapons part of it looks garbage.

like hapkido or aikido. looks good in demos but doesn't work irl.

                    no just giving my opinion.

i don't think highly of karate, tae kwondo, aikido, hapkido garbage.

                    same for kali/eskrima no weapons.

the weapons part i like and i think works.
