    Grand Oasis, Cancun, Mexico - In a battle of big thrills from start to finish, Edgar Sosa (45-7, 27KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over countryman Wilbert "Hurricane" Uicab (33-7) in a WBC final flyweight eliminator. After going down hard in the first, Sosa was able to battle back in the mid rounds to return the favor to Uicab in the sixth and nearly finished him in the seventh. They went to war in the remaining rounds with Sosa having the edge. The judges saw it 114-111 for Sosa. Photos by the WBC.

      That fight was GREAT! Uicab could've won this but he got sloppy after the 6th or so for some reason. Idk why, he was having great success and frustrating Sosa. Idk if they mentioned this but Sosa seemed to have a broken hand or something cause he kept shaking it every time he landed that right.

        he gassed he threw a lot of punches in the first 5 rounds i thought he was gunna TKO sosa for a minute
