Why should Floyd be considered the #1 guy at welterweight? All he has is the very competitive win against Cotto where he got his nose crushed. Meanwhile, Trout has back-to-back wins against then top 10 JMWs in Cotto (who he beat more easily than Floyd did) and Delvin Rodriguez. Meanwhile what has Canelo done to be ranked #2 (even above Trout)? The RING/Golden Boy 154 pound rankings are crap and we all know why.

Floyd had a bloody nose. It wasnt crushed lol. Trout beat Cotto easier than Floyd? Your out of your rabbit ass mind. Look at the total punches and power punches. Cotto was loading up and hitting Trout flush with left hooks. Now Trout might of beat Cotto up more but he was loosing the fight after six. Cottos kids were ready to cry after two rounds with Floyd.
Trout did a good job not fading late like he did against Rodriguez. But personally I dont see anything that Trout does that makes him great. He looks like a pretty good fighter. Hes got that southpaw (back hand) jab thats not dominate. Its not a heavy jab like Cottos. Trouts tall but he doesnt really fight like a tall fighter. Who knows if you guys all hop on his d1ck enough and hype this dude up maybe he will get his shot. Id like to see the brotha get it over a mexican, but thats just me, even though Trout got himself a white *****.
