In fact, Bowe was a huge let down after that first Holyfield fight. In that fight he was awesome! Vitali has performed to his best ability ever fight but if he had ever faced the Bowe that beat Holyfield and Gonzales, he'd get knocked out. Vitali doesn't have what it takes to beat that kind of fighter. Look at the Sanders fight and how hard of a time he had with Sanders. If that was a prime Bowe, Vitali loses by KO, no way he could go the distance.
Bowe is an overrated one hit wonder, he was a slow handed punching bag who couldn't even throw a straight punch. He blatantly ducked Lennox Lewis and got exposed and destroyed twice by Golota.

Bowe struggled and looked bad against a GREEN Herbie Hide. He was badly hurt several times and was out on his feet.

Vitali destroyed a PRIME age 28 Herbie Hide in 2 rounds. Hide was world heavyweight champion and was coming off a 2nd round KO win over Tony Tucker, who went the distance with Lennox Lewis and your overrated hero Tyson.

Vitali didn't have a "hard time" against Sanders.

Sanders had his moments, but he got dominated and KO'd by Vitali.

      Round 1: Sanders 10-9
      Round 2: Vitali 10-9
      Round 3: Vitali 10-9
      Round 4: Vitali 10-9
      Round 5: Vitali 10-8
      Round 6: Vitali 10-9
      Round 7: Vitali 10-9
Round 8: Vitali wins by Knockout

      punch stats

      Vitali - 230/413 56%

      Sanders - 51/229 22%

      Vitali's power punches - 171/285 60%

Vitali and Bowe also have two other common opponents, Lennox Lewis and Larry Donald.

      - Bowe lost rounds and couldn't stop a GREEN Larry Donald.

      - Vitali is the only man to knockdown and KO Donald, he floored Donald 4 times. And it was a PRIME Donald. After the KO loss to Vitali, Donald dominated Holyfield and had a very close fight with Valuev.

      - Bowe got KTFO by Lewis in the amatuers and blatantly ducked Lewis in the pros.

      - Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement.

Prime For Prime...The overrated slow handed punching bag Riddick Bowe gets dominated and KO'd by Vitali Klitschko.

        Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis

        THE TRUTH

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt, was holding on for dear life and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and was badly hurt several times in the fight.

        punches landed

        Vitali 156

        Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was clearly the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.

        Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 30 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared his bitch ass into retirement.

George Foreman: "Vitali was winning the fight. Lewis got lucky. There has to be a rematch!"

Jim Lampley: "A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight"

Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch.

Lewis is scared to death of Vitali.

Lewis was 37 when he got his ass whooped by Vitali.

37 isn't really that old for a heavyweight.

Vitali turns 40 in July and Wlad turns 35 in March.

Lewis was coming off the KO win over Tyson. In the Lewis-Tyson post fight interview Lewis stated "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age"

In an interview right before the Vitali fight, Lewis said "I'm at the peak of my powers, I will keep fighting for many more years"

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement. That's a FACT.

If you watched Bowe, you would know there was something wrong with the guy, just like Tyson. That's why he had such a let down of a career. At his best he would have easily beat both Klitschko's but they have had better careers than him.
