Miranda-Despaigne was turning into one of the best fights I have seen in I don't know how long and it gets stopped on low blows. What an incredible let down. And whats with ESPN3 online? They were talking about the Judah-Khan fight and they cut it off as if it is a commercial. What is up with that?

You are such a ***** bro its not even funny, first you root for both fighters who lost today, then when they lose, you turn against them. Your a fanboy nothing more you know nothing about boxing and you wouldnt have the heart to do what these fighters do in the ring. Miranda showed some heart he never ran and it was a bull DQ there should have been more warnings. I dont think Edison will ever be champ, but he still has something left in the tank and he could be a good gatekeeper at 175.

That ridiculous DQ left a bad taste in my mouth. Despaigne was handling Miranda. I wanted to see Edison get plastered after all the trash he was talking. But Miranda put in a decent performance, despite looking slow as molasses. It was a good fight; anything could've happened, although Yordanis probably would've finished Edison late.

For sure man Edison wasnt gonna win unless he landed that lucky punch, Despaigne is a good boxer and he was using good movement and landing some good shots on Miranda. regardless I would have liked to see it last longer, but I didnt like the fact that Despaigne played it a bit on the first low blow which caused the initial point reduction.

I didn't like it, either. It was a b*tch move, really. I rolled my eyes. That might be some BS left over from Despaigne's amateur days. The ref should've given Miranda a warning, nothing more. The blow was low, but it was a tap. As it turned out, the game Despaigne played worked in his favor. Miranda continued to go south of the border and paid the price.

Yordanis looked good, but Edison looked pretty beatable. Although Miranda obviously came to fight, he looked a little uninterested. Something in his expression...even when the ref disqualified him, Edison barely protested.

The fight was entertaining while it lasted. Too bad about the outrageously quick DQ. It could've been a nice fight. Some questions about Despaigne's quality still linger. But the questions I had about Miranda are pretty much answered: Edison's done.
