The stoppage still would only have benefited JuanMa who was about to be decapitated. Period.

Lopez's career would of taken a bigger downfall if he didn't stop it and just let him get knocked out in a brutal way.

A Juanma's career would be fine with a stop or KO.

Its not like Ortiz who's career was SHOT after quitting like a real ***** and still was given a shot at a title.

Pfffft...Juanma was getting knocked out. It was NOT a bad stoppage. I'll be quick to admit that on television (the angle and everything) looked like Juanma was still in it...he wasn't. He landed the last punch before the stoppage but Juanma was on his way to the canvas again. His heart and the mentality of never having been defeated was what kept him up, but the referee did the correct thing.

I was there live and the place went berserk. There was a group of guys behind me who started to chant, "Arbitro...cabron! Arbitro...cabron!" which more or less means a**hole in Spanish. The stoppage was correct. Juanma was sloppy, looked tired before the sixth round, and had no regard for defense. He was not going to make it to the final bell.

This is really getting stupid now, Do this people actually care for Juanma's health? Or all they care about was his "0"?
