    NEW YORK - 50 Cent’s SMS promotions announced today the signing of yet another fantastic athlete. Ryan Martin, an amateur standout from Chattanooga, TN, is scheduled to make his professional debut under the tutelage of boxing coach Joe Delguyd, known for training light welterweight Craig Weber and featherweight Daniel Maldonado for the IBA World Championship. Martin’s first bout is set on September 16th at the Resorts World Casino NYC in New York.

      The sad part is that 50 has the potential to be one of the best promoters out there, but he's not focused nor should he be because I'm sure he makes more $$$ from his other ventures than he does from boxing. He can speak to presidents of networks intelligently while also relating to the street folk which you need to be successful in boxing. Arum and King have that same trait. Duboef and Schaefer not so much.
