Matt Riddle tests positive for THC. Released by UFC.

The welterweight fighter on Tuesday confirmed to MMAjunkie.com Radio (www.mmajunkie.com/radio) that he failed his second post-fight drug test for marijuana and has been released from the UFC.

Riddle flunked a test following UFC on FUEL TV 7, where he earned a split call against Che Mills (15-6 MMA, 2-2 UFC).

Several critics, including UFC President Dana White, said Riddle should have won a unanimous decision. White also disparaged Mills' performance, saying the fighter didn't press the action late in the fight when he had a positional advantage.

Mills was later cut by the promotion in a spate of pink slips handed out prior to UFC 157.

Not a fan of cutting someone for some bud, but, what a DUMB ASS!

How the **** do you get popped for weed a 2nd time??? Use a body cleanser, drink some vinegar, sweat that **** out. Do something, ya ******. Or how about, not smoking a few weeks before the fight.

He said he could beat the system 3 weeks before hand but it says they got him in a post fight test so most likely he celebrated his boring ass win with a blunt and got caught.

Not a big deal since the fight was boring and the ufc was making cuts, and hell never cut the top 10 anyway. He is young but still not a bad cut. He's only fought in the ufc so if he can make some noise maybe it will take a reality check of not fighting for the ufc for once.
