  • Comments Thread For: Povetkin's Manager: We Are Already Preparing For Haye

Vladimir Hryunov, manager of Alexander Povetkin (21-0, 15 KO), says his boxer is already getting ready for what might be a possible fight with WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-1, 23 KO). Haye plans to fight on May 21 in Engalnd. The mandatory challenger, Ruslan Chagaev (27-1-1, 17 KOs), may not be able to receive approval from the British Boxing Board, due to Hepititis B being present in his blood.

Tony Thompson is and was better then Povetkin.

Chris Byrd and Chasgav might also be better.

Haye gives fair contracts unlike the 2 b*tchko's.

Haye's upcoming KO win over a bona-fide top heavyweight contender like Povetkin will make a Klitschko-Haye fight even more lucrative.

Haye-Povetkin will likely be on Showtime the same night as Johnson-Froch, so Haye will be given some US exposure.

He'd be foolish to not take this fight.

You bring up Chris Byrd from 11 years ago? Is Wlads resume' so bad that you have to go back a decade to find a decent fighter?

Povetkin is better than Chambers who went 12 rounds with Wlad. Povetkin is actually the true #4 heavyweight in the world IMO, as Adamek hasnt beaten anyone... Great fight if it is made!!!
