All it took was one round for Moises Fuentes to capture the WBO's interim junior flyweight world title, as he battered the brave Colombian Luis de la Rosa before eight thousand people at the Palenque de la Feria in Tapachula , Chiapas. The Zanfer promoted card aired on Azteca 7. Fuentes became the second Mexican in boxing history to win titles at 105 and 108. Fuentes came out swinging in the first round, hurt De la Rosa with a few early shot and then unleashed a heavy barrage against the ropes to force the referee's intervention. Fuentes improved his record to 18 wins with 9 knockouts, one loss and one draw, while Luis de la Rosa scored his third setback in exchange for 22 wins, with 12 before the limit and a draw.
