  • Comments Thread For: Donaire-Arce, Rios-Avarado Double Eyed For October 13

The eagerly awaited title defense of WBO/IBF super bantamweight champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire against Mexican warrior Jorge "Travieso" Arce has been moved to October 13 from the original October 20 date.

However, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum told the Manila Standard that there is no definite word on the venue. Earlier reports mentioned the Home Depot Center in Carson City where Donaire won the IBF title from South Africa's Jeffrey Mathebula and the Alamadome in San Antonio, Texas where Donaire won the WBO title in a clash with Wilfredo Vazquez Jr of Puerto Rico.

Should be a good card .Although donaire shouldn't be fighting arce....I think Rigondeaux should bum rush the ring like Mosley did floyd.

Rios Vs Alverado looks to be more of a main event, than Donaire vs Arce.

Rios-Alvarado is a main event itself. Good card, but Donaire needs to fight Rigo, Mares or Moreno afterwards before he moves up.
