Bob Arum of Top Rank hasn’t shied away from criticizing the May 3 pay-per-view bout between Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana that is being put on by his company’s promotional rival, Golden Boy Promotions.

Arum has noted the odds and called it a noncompetitive matchup. On a media conference call on April 16, Maidana and his trainer, Robert Garcia, responded to Arum’s criticism. [Click Here To Read More]

Overweight/way past prime/old Morales edged him imo. Even Alexander had a shut out. I am afraid Bob Arum is right this is not worth a ppv.

Morales would give anybody problems if he has a ounce of fight left. And a hug fest is not a fight.

Robert Garcias last 2 fights that were on PPV were both 12-0 losses against Pacquiao but they were entertaining because both guys came to fight, Floyd is gonna potshot and run against Maidana

Floyd will be taken to deep waters on may 3d, Maidana will take something out of him that he will never get back that night.

              WAR MAIDANA!!
