    Kenny Abril (14-5-1) pulled off a major upset when he defeated Dennis Laurente (40-4-4) via split decision in the evening's opening fight at the Texas Station casino in Las Vegas.               Andy Ruiz is good enough to move up in competition. He isn't getting much attention yet, but he has tools and the last time I looked he was getting rid of the Baby fat. He might suprise a lot of people if he keeps improving. I didn't see this fight, but it sounds like he steamrolled McCall with ease.

                I like Jessie Vargas, but he doesn't seem to have a direction lately. Maybe its just me, but it looks like he's hit a plateau of some sorts, fighting lesser named fighters.

                Also, Dracolich is a kickass last name.
