Warren AND Cleverly ARE LIARS!! Shumenov NEVER turned down any offer and NEVER said he wouldn't be ready in time. What a LIE! Cleverly turned down the offer to fight Shumenov in Vegas. THAT IS THE TRUTH.

Karpency is a clubfighter who has never beaten a single top 100 light heavyweight. He's ranked #83 on BoxRec.

I'm disappointed in Cleverly for fighting the softest ranked opponent he can find when he has a mandatory waiting.

Karpency is feather fisted, this is a safe choice, its a shrewed business decision. Its actually a good fight because Karpency is mobile.

Actually - Warren promised Cleverly a homecoming in Wales after the Bellew fight.

The venue and date has been booked, so whoever Cleverly fights has to come to Cardiff.

Cleverly has said he'll fight Shumenov in Vegas but if the fights to happen now then Shumenov has to come to Cardiff.

Shumenov doesn't want to, so Cleverly will have to travel to Vegas after this for the fight. Cleverly's already fought in Vegas, we'll see if he's prepared to again after this fight. He says unequivocally he is.

Disappointing opponent though - he needs to step it up in his fight and hopefully that'll be against Shumenov.

Great to see Clev take the next step and capitalize on that FOTY with Tony Bellews by stepping up and taking on a premier fighter in the LHW division.

                Oh, wait a second...

                  /o\

Let's hope he's just giving the Welsh public what they want before moving onto a real challenge, but I'm not holding my breath.

If he's honest with himself, being "WBO Light Heavyweight Champion of the World" means nothing more than "The Best Light Heavyweight in Frank Warren's Stable".
