Actually it was 5 years ago, but hardly enough time has passed to warrant a carbon copy remake with a gimmicky twist haha.

I don't like how the movie suggests the reason people commit crime is because we aren't allowed to release our inner desires.

The reason we commit crime is because of the distribution of wealth. The Wealthy .1% take everything, and leave nothing but scraps for the rest of the world. Scraps that we have to fight for.

Rich people have no need to kidnap and rape women. They just have to pull up in their Lamborghini and fill it up with girls who will do everything they say.

Edit: Besides ariele castro represents a very small demographic of crime. The amount of insanity you have to possess to imprison another human being against their will is entering the realm of sociopathy

Distribution of wealth? (<< Socialist-Collectivist Sleaze word alert)...nobody is taking anything from you. If anything, the govt is taking away your purchasing power. The 100 dollar bill in your pocket can't buy you what it could 10 years ago.

You're generalizing anyway (which wealthy?) so I will return the favor with a generalization of my own. If anything, The rich help you....the shirt on your back and every piece of clothing that you bought for cheap was produced by some rich guy/entity. They turn a profit and you don't get to walk around naked in public. Be grateful.
