  • I agree, boxing would be extremely bland without Mayweather. Pacquiao does add to the excitement of boxing too though, and the likes of Canelo and these other upcoming stars come to mind, but May stands out the most.

      • If was up to floyd to keep boxing alive, boxing would be going no where fast.
Its a sad day for boxing if the credibility of boxing rests on lil floyds shoulders.

        The guy wont fight!

If you look just at this board, the guys who hate floyd the most create the most threads about him. That tends to distiort people's perspective.
No the Mayweather crazies create most of the threads and the far more numerous anti-Mayweatherites flood the response space.

          • so many threads on floyd, none of pacquiao

he's the bigger draw and more cared about and talked about, simple as that.

You're stretching it more than a little. Mayweather is 2" taller than pacquiao and nobody knows what he weighs on fight night as he doesn't allow a weigh-in. he could be, and looks about 155-160, and is very big compared to MannyP. As for martinez, he is from 1 to 2 inches shorter than Martinez (Marinnez" height reports have varied) and again, nobody knows his fight-night weight.

Thiese facts put a different appearance on your PR BUMPFH.

He weighed in against Ortiz at 150 lbs on fight night. Do you people even watch boxing or just boxrec everything?
