  • Arum: Donaire would break into the PPV domain with the Arce fight

    http://sports.inquirer.net/51916/cro...xt-for-donaire

Next for Donaire is Arce in October and after that Nishioka in December/January. Arum also claims to want to put Donaire against Mares then Rigondeaux afterwards.

Arum plans on putting Donaire on HBO ppv after the Arce fight. What opponents would people here pay to watch Donaire fight???

I would pay to watch Donaire-Mares and Donaire-Gamboa. Moreno, Rigo, Nishioka and others are good fighters but wouldn't be as entertaining stylistically.

That's gonna be tough imo. I mean the Home Depot Center wasn't even close to being sold out, even for a smaller venue. I want to see what kind of numbers his fight did on HBO last night.

and they wonder why these fights get streamed..

a boxing fan (unless he's down on his luck,) will man up and buy ppv if it's worthy

donare should not be a ppv fighter.

My suggestion to Nishioka is that he takes a tune up meanwhile.

Or if he fights Mares and loses his/Donaire's/Arum's plans might get spoiled.

But I still don't believe anything Arum says. Mares and Rigo? Doubtful. Will believe it when I see them walking in.

Honestly do we really have to see Donaire put a beating on an old ass Arce for him to take on the fights the fans are actually interested in? Why not skip to Mares, Rigo, etc...

I don't think Donaire is ppv material being a jr. featherweight.

I would pay to see Donaire fight Mares or Gamboa. That's just a personal preference.

                  Arce, WTF.

Only Mares and Gamboa IMO. Even then those fights aren't particularly PPV worthy.

                    He needs to fight Nishioka.
