A press conference was held to officially announce the Zanfer Promotions doubleheader scheduled for June 1 at the Sonora Stadium in Mexico. Former WBA flyweight champion Hernan "Tyson" Marquez (35-3-2, 26 KO's) will face Colombian Carlos "Olimpico" Tamara (23-7-1, 17 KO's) in a WBO final eliminator. In the other half of the double, WBC silver super flyweight champion David “Tornado” Sanchez (20-2-2, 15 KOs) takes on Filipino contender Marc Anthony Geraldo (28-4-3, 12 KOs).
