  • More pathetic victory: Floyd vs. Mosley or Holmes vs. Ali

Both Shane and Ali were 37 or 38 and way beyond shot.

Ali was at least able to throw some punches back, whereas Shane was completely unable to pull the trigger.

The one glaring difference is that Floyd considered that one of his biggest victories whereas Holmes showed class and dignity by being ashamed of his fight with Ali.

Another advantage is that Ali is an ATG whereas Mosley was never really that great to begin with.

    Holmes 2 --- Floyd 0

I don't know why I'm feeding the troll but...Mosley was #3 p4p and coming off the best win (knockout) of his career.

You can take that p4p ranking and stick straight up your butt.

Its a marketing tool to get suckers like you to buy ppv. If you were aware of the intricacies that surrounded the Margarito/Mosley fight you'd know better.

Furthermore, prior to that and since that fight, Mosley's looked like garbage.

May I remind any potential skeptics of the fact that Mosley had a full camp for the Berto fight that went to waste because Berto ducked him.

Only to have back to back camps for Floyd.

I don't think Ali had back to back camps with blood being drawn.

          Holmes 3--- Floyd 0.

This thread is more pathetic than either of those fights. Shane Mosley was a world champion who, in his last fight, knocked out another highly regarded world champion. He was considered one of the top two fighters in the division at the time he fought Mayweather.

Ali had already retired after he had had faded an had absolutely nothing left in his tank. He came out of retirement to fight Holmes, who was at the top of his game at the time. If Holmes was embarrassed, its because he took no joy in beating an old, faded, shell of a former warrior like Ali. That fight was the equivalent of Manny Pacquaio beating an old, faded shell of a former champion in Shane Mosley.

The difference was that Pacquiao and his worshippers patted him on the back for beating Mosley (who was never really that great to begin with) and considered it a great victory and proof that Pac is the greatest fighter who ever lived.. :gay:

No man, he had one good night after beating a guy who didn't take the fight seriously and was totally mentally taken out of the fight in the locker room.

You have to consider the variables instead of listening to boxing writers who don't know **** aka 99% of boxing writers.

Mosley was in the midst of a divorce where most of his money got stolen from him, back to back camps, looked like crap against everyone but Margarito for years and was desperate for a payday to cover Jin's needs.

                    GTFO clown.

Pac/Mosley was a **** fight too. Try to focus for a minute. This ain't about Pac.
