C'mon now, they could do better than that. At least get a legit middleweight. There has to be a fringe contender out ther that wants to try his luck for a real world title. Ishida getting two title shots in a row after getting beat by Williams is inexcusable.

As much as I hate Sergio Mora, he accepted the Golovkin fight not too long ago. Even that would be better.

Agreed, I was cool with Adama..... not so much with Ishida

Relax. Didn't he say he was going to fight 5 times this year?

This is just a stay busy fight against an opponent that can't do any damage against him. He should be able to have a quick turnaround after this fight and fight a couple months later against one of the top guys at 160.

What makes you think Mora would accept in Monte Carlo, off tv, for whatever money they're offering?

I recall Abel Sanchez said Golovkin made $400-500k fighting in Europe. Why the hell is he fighting in the states if it's not televised?

EDIT: misread post. It isn't in the united states.
EDIT 2: Okay, I didn't misread it. I think it's Monte Carlo the casino, not Monaco.
            EDIT 3: No, it's Monaco.

GGG doen't need stay busy fights, he's yet to fight a good opponent. I rather see him fight 2 or 3 times this year against better opposition.

He has a date in june on hbo, that's 5 months after the last one. It's unusual he wants another in between, but whatever.

It's also interesting it's Monte Carlo. Used to be a big fight town, fallen off the map.

I'm kind of confused by Monte Carlo. Does Steve Kim mean Monte Carlo, the Vegas casino, or Monte Carlo in Monaco?

                      EDIT: It's Monaco.
