It was late last year that troubled former featherweight titleholder Scott Harrison was sentenced to four more years behind bars for charges dating back to 2007. Now it looks like that prison time could soon begin.
Harrison, 35, had sought to have his sentence suspended, but that appeal has been rejected, according to British newspaper The Scotsman. Harrison was part of a group that assaulted three men at a Spanish brothel all those years ago.
Harrison “has been given just two weeks to comply with the demand to begin serving his jail sentence,” the newspaper said last week. “Should Harrison fail to travel from Scotland to Spain to start his term before the deadline, the court will enact proceedings to forcibly have him sent to the country.” [Click Here To Read More]
