I think Floyd's tougher than people think, but I think also people are putting way too much stock in Floyd being 25 years old again. As Floyd's stated about Cotto being set in his style, the same applies to Floyd truthfully. The fight's going to the cards, but I believe it'll be closer than most are expecting.
Wanna bet on that? I'm not one of those Floyd fans who think Floyd is going to stop Cotto on May 5th, but i do believe Cotto will win no less than 3 rounds. Do you honestly see Cotto landing more punches on Floyd than he landed on Pacquiao?

We will see!
Im rooting for him and hope he knocks Floyds sorry Bumass out!
Here are the facts about Cotto and to some his flaws .....
- His high ear-covering guard position leaves him severely open to uppercuts
- He has a large head which even with the high-guard is susceptible to either left or right hooks
- In order to deliver power-shots Cotto has a history of going flat-footed and if his opponent shifts position, then the power-shot doesn't get delivered
- he hunches over and forward too much .... which is why he gets killed with uppercuts
- he cannot fight going backward .... if he cannot pursue his opponent, he goes into to that backward ring-circling sequence.
- his arms are short, which means he has to get in tight and go flat-footed to deliver his power-shots
*******
Floyd has been studying Cotto and knows his style well. He even commented that during the Pac-man fight that "Cotto is still too flat-footed".
For this fight Floyd is going to get in as tight as possible and reduce his viewable target areas .... i.e. give Cotto only a side view of his body.
This is going to force Cotto to back-up constantly in order to gain space, opening up the the following shots from Floyd: Jabs and uppercuts.
And once Cotto starts covering up to deflect those shots, Floyd is going to hook him to death. Shifting to Cotto's right, to keep him off-balance and repositioning all night.
*******
This is going to be a very tactical fight from Mayweather and Cotto's going to try an deliver power-shots for the win. But just like what happened in the Pac-man fight ..... when Floyd takes away the power-shots as Pacman did, what does Cotto have to fall back on ?????????
And here's the key: Cotto has to go FLAT-FOOTED to deliver the power-shots.
