          They actually destroyed the MLB record (previously held by the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 50s) of most starts in a season by rookie pitchers. The entire starting rotation is currently rookies, which would make them the first team in history to go into the playoffs as such (though I'm hoping Anderson returns at the end of the week and we avoid that distinction).

            wow thats an awesome feat...and if it wasnt for Trout (we got him to look forward to in the post season awards) cespedes would be up there for ROY

              Yeah, but Trout's rookie performance is a once in a generation kind of thing, just a force of nature. You all just have to hope he doesn't level off after this year like Fred Lynn did.

                  no doubt, this kid has a great future...i think injuries would be the only thing to slow him down, maybe his play in the outfield should be toned down, cause he has banged up his shoulder on some plays
