did you not realise he was still fat and overweight, and that struggling against an over 40 Ray ****ing Austin means you will be killed by Vitali, who is exponentially better than Austin?

good job for him, he lost 14lbs, hes a professional fighter for crying out loud. he still needed to lose 20+ more lbs to actually be effective.

For his biggest pay day he managed to come in slightly better shape bravo to him.

That shows exactly why he is a clown who never had what it takes to get to the top of the sport.

Lets be honest if he was REAL serious he would have been droppin a lot of weight at a time in his last 3 fights. Not 1 big drop for his title fight. there is only so much weight the body can lose healthily at a time.

I had solis winnin a close round until the right hand took away his senses.

seemed to me like he was already being effective

so much for a bum who struggled with austin not being able to do sht vs vitali, he landed more meaningful punches on vitali in the one round than the last 2 or 3 vitali opponents after the whole fight

and he was in pretty good shape, despite the excess skin from dropping weight too fast, it was'nt all blob or you'd see ***** ****

Oh and if he was a serious fighter battling a knee injury he wouldn't be carrying around 1 extra pound of weight which only exacerbates leg issues, let alone 25 pounds (or more).

Who cares about how a guy looks in one round which he gets knocked out~ any clown can look decent in one round especially the first one.

lol, Solis almost won round 1=he was effective. interesting. and considering Vitali's last opponents were an old Briggs(with an injury to boot) and Sosnowski who didnt deserve a title shot either, that second statement doesnt mean much at all.

incidently, thats bull****. Briggs landed harder more flush shots on Vitali than Solis did in that one round, its just that he was so busy getting his ass kicked that no one noticed. Sosnowski also did better against Vitali than most expected.

Are you looking for someone who is actually trying to win, or just 'look good' against Vitali? Solis had little to no shot to win, when he couldnt even win the first round and because of his overweight nature would have gotten worse as the fight progressed and as he ate Vitali's punches.

is it a fact that he got KOed in the first round?

is it a fact that he gassed against a ****ty over 40 Ray Austin who is not even close to Vitali's level?

is it a fact that Solis still needed to lose over 20lbs ot have been in good shape against Vitali?

He had the best round anyone's had against Vitali in at least 5 years, then got injured. It's a shame the seriousness of the injury will probably deprive us of a rematch and the chance to see what might really have happened.
