Don't lie, Im sure if we were in his shoes we wouldn't bother to train hard 3 months for ****ty money. as observers we would like to watch, but we don't get to see or hear the influences around him!.

Who had Dirrell fight before fighting Froch?

Who had Ward fought before fighting Kessler?

Who had Floyd fought before fighting Hernandez?

It happens. Young fighters with good managers/promoters get a huge fight before getting the lesser, tough fights. Sounds to me like you are afraid that Canelo will be sucessful or give a good account of himself against Cotto/Mayweather or Martinez.

You can't put all the blame on Canelo, the WBC has become a protection service for undefeated fighters. For the right price you can get a vacant title and make a few defenses before having to prove youself.

The shame of it is that Canelo is good enough to fight anyone, he doesn't need a padded record he should be tearing through 154. Go through all the dangerous young guys then fight a couple of legends.

Like he runs the show. Be pissed at the promoters and the president of the WBC. Canelo has been saying he is ready for anyone for a while now. In that situation, you wouldn't bite the hand that feeds you either.

Those other guys didn't have long beltholding stints while avoiding all divisional comp before facing those opponents.

They are doing a good job bringing him up slowly. Look what happened with a 22 year old Vargas that had all the potential in the world, when they put him in with anybody. Not all fighters can be Mike Tyson and run Boxing at age 21.

It's funny because whenever he fought someone with a name a lot of people thought he'd be exposed and/or lose but he beat them all with ease. For example Mosley, Cintron, hell people where even giving Hatton and Rhodes a chance to pull the upset off, but all Failed!
