  • Pacman is not shot, he is just not a thinker!

Marquez was doing well all fight but pac was looking sensational and won three of the five completed rounds clearly he looked sensational but the whole time pac was outfighting a game Marquez, Marquez was outthinking him.

Marquez was planning the right all night he landed a great right that flawed Pac one after pac floored him and one to end the fight! watch the fight and you will see Marquez switch to the body in rounds that Pac is winning and although Pac is winning he is being hurt to the body.

Marquez then switches upstairs while Pac is protecting his body and BOOM! the commentators spoke about the body shots! Pacs game plan was good also he was moving his head well to avoid counters but can not help leaping in which will be his downfall against any counter puncher due to his momentum for everyone laughing at Pac I guarantee he will dominate his next opponent unless it is May or Marquez.

Pac is past prime and slightly slower than before but he is not shot he is still P4P perhaps number five and will destroy guys like Guerrero etc nut any elite counter puncher will punish him and always would have.

What makes him great is what makes him look bad at times. He is the ultimate risk taker in the ring.

Prior to that, I thought Pacquiao defense was pretty good. He was blocking a lot of Marquez shots and was actually boxing pretty good.

However, he had Marquez hurt and try to take a gamble and paid for it. It's the fight game..... things like that happen.

It doesn't make him a dumb fighter, just like it doesn't make Hearns a dumb fighter for trying to take Haglar out, only to get clipped himself.

That's exactly what I saw. Even while Manny was winning rounds. Marquez's plan wasn't to win a decision - it was to KO Pacquiao and he set that punch up very nicely. Even if the KO hadn't occurred it would've happened eventually because his plan B was solid as well and Manny was not going to maintain that pace eating the body shots that he was getting tagged with.

I dont think he is dumb but he is certainly not a thinking fighter Marquez with this gameplan beats Pac at any stage in his career look at the body shots they made the win in this fight.

the 1st KD by Marquez was pure genius laying the trap in the 1st and 2nd rounds with body punches and then boom a fake out Manny never fully recovered from it.

thing of beauty a ****ing artiest at work

I'm obviously making too much of a sensible post to get
Much attention but the reality of it is a good PAC slightly past prime was just outsmarted.

pacquiao was not exposed, he just got nailed with a blow he never saw coming, a punch that would have knocked out any other welterweight it landed on. despite knocked down in the 3rd round, pacquiao regained momentum and looked to be on his way to busting up marquez’s face to the point where a stoppage was possible in the next few rounds. pacquiao got over zealous and came rushing in thinking he could finish it early, marquez saw his opportunity and immediately took advantage. pacquiao would have done the same thing

Marquez and PAC were both past prime but marquez is just a better fighter than PAC and if the third fight was scored properly would be 2 - 1 - 1 against PAC. He is a superior fighter but PAC doesn't fight counter punchers well name one counter puncher he has not struggled with.

Also, Nacho is one of ATG trainer while Roach is Hollywood trainer.

That means Nacho actually has a gameplan and evolves his fighter.

Roach ruined all of his fighters and hasnt made ANY of them better since he took over, just look at this year at fighters he has RUINED and didnt teach any of them any gameplan or technique:

                    Khan
                    Linares
                    Vanes
                    Manny x2

                    etc etc etc
