Didnt Arum give Floyd some bull**** deadline acting like he was his boss/promoter? That right there is being plain ignorant...you don't give a guy you DONT promote a deadline for anything. It's like Lou Dibella giving Pac or Floyd a deadline to sign to fight Martinez or Williams.
If Arum is promoting one of the fighters, of course he can impose a deadline. He doesn't want his fighter left hung out to dry with no fight while Floyd is stalling and getting arrested.
You're speaking as though Marquez and Mosley landed a great amount of punches against Mayweather when they barely hit him.
Marquez spent the first part of the fight trying to out box Floyd and trying to hit him with counter punches...big mistake. Once he realized that the only chance he had was to attack, he started to land punches.
All I'm saying is that there was a time when you could think back on a Floyd fight and not remember even one memorable punch landed by an opponent. Now, there are several of those moments in every fight. Both Mosley and JMM tied to box with Floyd.....I think Pac will try to swarm him with combinations. Mayweather may very well win but it won't be a stroll in the park.
It doesnt matter if you have Pacquiao timed. He still lands his shots and he still makes it hell for you. He's really not a pressure fighter at the higher weights. He doesnt stalk you, he moves in and out. A prime Marquez at his best weight had Manny timed and he still got hit with plenty of powershots. Pac now has a better right hand and is a little smarter and actually has developed a pretty good counter right hook. Point being, Doesnt matter who you are, you wont have an easy fight with Pac. That goes both ways as well. You wont have an easy fight with Mayweather. The fight will be competitive if it ever happens.

So increasing his output gained him 1 extra punch a round.
Should be noted that.
Rounds 1-6 Mayweather landed 113 punches.
Rounds 6-12 Mayweather landed 198 punches.
Mayweather landed lets say an extra 10 punches a round in the later half of the fight.
Also you are wrong saying there was a time you couldn't remember Floyd getting tagged, against, Judah, Corley he was tagged. I cannot remember what opponent he was up against but his face was kinda puffy at the end.
oscar's on the money about floyd and manny--floyd will beat manny and bob knows it--manny wants to find out and he will soon enough--the fight imo is a huge mismatch--floyd is too methodical a fighter for manny--
