What do you guys think? If Floyd could weigh what he wants, probably 152-154lbs official on weigh-in, and Andre Ward 168lbs on weigh in. But there would be a stipulation that Ward couldn't put on any more weight.

On fight night there would probably be around 18lbs weight difference. That type of difference has been seen between fighters in the same weight class, when one fighter rehydrates a damn lot and the other not so much.

    Would that be possible?

    In terms of reality....no

Floyd isn't naturally even a Jr Middleweight let alone a Middleweight or Super Middle. Reality is Ward would be in the 170s and Floyd is the low 150s (or maybe even high 140s). Just not a realistic match up.

he could. he'd get mentally damaged or pull every leg muscle from constantly moving around.

            Yea...

Ward also has speed, movement, and is a great boxer. Why even bother fighting a guy much bigger than you with those skills?

But what if the contract said he couldn't weigh any more than 168 come fight night?

Like Cotto when he weighed 147 against Pacman, or De La Hoya against Mayweather.

even if that was the case id still pick ward to win but lets say somehow floyd actually won which he wont you got the nay-sayers on here who would say "he fought a drained ward"

Cotto didnt come in fight night at 147. According to Cotto, he was about 151-152 fight night. Oscar vs Mayweather was at 154lbs. Oscar fight night was about 160-161 and Floyd was 147-148. With Ward you're talking over 20+ lbs difference fight night. Pacquiao did it with Margarito, but Margarito isn't no where near the boxer that Ward is where speed, size, movement, skill would all play a factor instead of just size. Ward also wouldn't agree to stay at 168lbs fight night.

Now if we're talking Sergio Martinez and Floyd, that's a different story (though I doubt it happens anyway).
