    la liga was won very widely last year but just look at the season before and the season before that. seville were #1 for a long long time and looked to have closed it out before real went on an amazing run of form.

    in la liga most of the players are homegrown and spanish themselves, there is even a spanish team in the premiership cough*liverpool*cough.

      i like serie a but it's not in a great state at the moment. inter are winning it too easily and they are losing their best players to the epl and la liga.

            Don't forget Pennant.

            Who cares whether they're loaned out or not? The coach is Spanish, he likes Spanish players. Is that so bad?

            Look at Arsenal..

              pennant isnt a regular there, he will probably be sold this window.

              the fact is livérpool has 5 spanish players about 3 argentinians, a spanish coach with all his backroom staff being spanish too. very little english influence there, it's the same with arsenal too.

              find a team in la liga like that.

                  homegrown talent which is why spain is so much better than england at international football. they are all taught to play football at a young age the same way - posession, passing drills, one touch, in england it is not the same.

                    With a Spanish manager

                    For excitement you watch the EPL
                    For a quality football that involves skills you watch La Liga
                    For a chess match you watch Seria A

                    EPL = Ward/Gatti
                    La Liga = Hagler/Leonard
                    Seria A = Wlad/Sultan

                      epl is overrated in terms of excitement imo, they talk about these 4-4 games but it happens in la liga too, just they havent seen them.

                      i prefer the championship in england to the premiership, i actually think that division is fun. serie a does have some good football like la liga but is mostly defensive minded, teams like as roma and ac milan can string the ball around really neatly and is fun to watch.
