If a @maravillabox-Chavez fight was made, @loudibella says he thinks it does at least 300K on PPV and I happen to agree with him. #boxing

Promoter @loudibella says to make a @maravillabox fight with JC Chavez Jr. they're fine giving his side the lion's share of money.

To clarify @loudibella's statement: They'd be OK giving Chavez's side more than 50% of any deal. #boxing

This should be a HBO fight.

Can't remember to many times a clearly superior fighter had to gave up the lionshare of his purse.

I guess Floyd-Oscar. But it wasn't this big of a difference.

Hopkins-Oscar. Pretty much anything with Oscar.

                  lol. Any non Oscar examples?

Maybe late Tyson vs Lewis or Holyfield?

If they do the 40/60 split like has been discussed with the PPV priced at $50, Martinez would get $6 million and Chavez will get $9 million. But 300k seems like a high estimate to me. More likely it'll get 200k buys. $4 million for Martinez and $6 million for Chavez.

EDIT: I forgot the provider's cut. I think that's like 50% off the whole thing.
