Less get real here. That shot happens in boxing, that's why the referee gives instructions to both fighters to protect themselves at ALL times. Once a boxer gets on the mode to hurt, He will and that's the nature of the sport. On the Gatti fight, Floyd had big timing and speed advantages and that shot, was not a defining shot on the fight. All the others did the damage and the fact that Gatti couldn't hit Floyd and He was getting hit with anything Floyd threw at him was the defining factor on that beatdown.
