that's what i've been telling these guys. his recent take about this fight is clear as day. he's still talking about drug testing when it is no longer an issue. that's not the picture of a guy who is dying to beat the crap out of the pacman. the biggest obvious sign is he is not interested in the money. he knows asking for more money will even put him in a more uncompromising situation. so this ost thing is the safer and relatively harmless excuse.

Floyd will get out of this fight in the following manner. Most top fighters fight roughly every six months. There are good reasons for this gap between fights. Fighters take damage to their bodys in training camp and during their fights, and need at time between fights to let themselves heal and stay healthy. Floyd has been averaging about once every 18 months. Floyd fights Ortiz in September, Manny fights JMM in November. Immediately after fighting Ortiz, Floyd will say he wants to fight Manny in four months, which would be January, leaving only two months for Manny between fights. Then one of two things happens, Manny accepts the date and doesnt have a proper amount of time between fight and thereby isnt 100 percent, or he says it is too little time and doesnt take the fight and Floyd and all his fans claim Manny is ducking Floyd.
Remind us which bluff Manny has already called? The last I heard, Pacquaio was still refusing to take the damn tests without a cutoff date, so Pacquaio hasn't called anything so far. Since it would take at least a month to negotiate a fight, your theory would only leave one month for the promoters to negotiate the fight and both fighters to promote the fight and prepare for it. Since there would only be one month to fight time, there could be no 24/7 program, and if there is no 24/7 program, there would be fewer PPV buys, which means that Mayweather would earn a fraction of what he would normally make on a percentage of the PPVs.

Your theory makes a hell of a lot of sense!
