Maybe, but that's something that started 40 years ago. Remember Hip Hop is from the late 70's. Hip hop has always been looked down on, even when it was in it's "good/harmless" stages.

          *Short reply*

          Partially Yes!!!!!

It is\has destroyed the youth, who in adopting that G-Rap mentality, disrespect anything and everything within view. Their value system, or lack thereof has also, been distorted to the point where, they see a future where it doesn't exist.

Those affected youth could have offered their time to serving better things, instead they're stuck in prison.

I think Hip Hop started as a whole being great, it was a way of expressing oneself freely and bringing together communities. Then something went wrong along the way.

When you see who's really behind putting all the music on the radio

It kinda puts things into perspective. There's just as much positive music and there is negative. But it's pretty clear what we get most of on the radio and tv.

......before crack blacks were doing well?

I'm not sure we can really say crack or hip hop destroyed the black community..

                  But they certainly didn't help

It highlighted the issues. Therefore, the issues were there before.
