    When the winner is announced on the scorecards in an elite fight with 'And the new!', but still you have to think about who the champ is/was, its an issue.

      Absolutely not, there are already too many. I wouldn't mind them replacing one of the other alphabet organizations though, as all of them are more corrupt.

        should be considered the Irrelevant Boxing Organisation.


        Since amalgamations are unlikely to happen, a pyramid of titles might solve some issues, with minor/irrelevant IBA, WBF, IBO and others at the bottom ,intermediate/major WBO and IBF on the next level and major/oldest WBA or WBC at the top. Or some arrangement like that.

        The we'd know who was the real King, and who was knocking on the door.

          4 recognised world title belts per division is enough.

          Actually 3 would make more sense, you could probably legitimately have 3 fighters per division worthy of world title status.
